Professional Development Opportunities during The Wonder of Learning

From January to May 2019, The Wonder of Learning exhibit in Madison will bring educators, researchers, policymakers, and families together for an unprecedented opportunity to improve programs and outcomes for our youngest learners. The professional development activities offered during the exhibit will welcome early childhood educators and administrators across all sectors – public, community-based, Head Start, and family childcare – to engage with The Wonder of Learning exhibit and enter into a dialogue with ideas presented by the municipal preschools and infant-toddler centers of Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Early childhood professionals in Wisconsin can earn Registry credit for visiting the exhibit and responding to a set of reflection questions online. Information about that process will be posted here in January.

A variety of conferences and workshops will be taking place in and near Madison during the exhibit period. Many of these activities will provide opportunities to learn about Reggio Emilia-inspired practices and delve deeply into the ideas presented in The Wonder of Learning.
